Catherine Gagné

Catherine advises employers on various employment issues, including the management of the employment relationship in both non-unionized and unionized contexts, labour standards, employment contracts, human rights, occupational health and safety, human resources policies, and employee benefits management. She represents employers before the various Quebec judicial and administrative bodies, as well as in grievance arbitration proceedings. Catherine is also experienced with pension plan administration and governance, which enables her to advise employers and pension committees on various pension issues.

In the context of commercial transactions, Catherine provides strategic advice to clients regarding the impact of the proposed transaction on employees and assists clients with the various steps to be taken with regard to the integration of the workforce and the management of changes in working conditions, the drafting of employment representations and warranties and the drafting of employment-related agreements.

Throughout her career, Catherine has advised a wide range of clients, from multinationals to small businesses, including employers from the public and para public sector. As a result of this experience, she can tailor her advice to the business reality and needs of each client.

Catherine is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés du Québec.
