Carlos Coronel is partner of Lexvalor Abogados. He is the director of the Tax Division.
He has extensive experience providing tax advisory services to national and international companies, in matters involving national and international taxation. He complements his practice with litigation, having sponsored important firms before Ecuadorian courts and as expert in international arbitration process.
Carlos leads foreign-law-firm relations, meeting the legal services expectations of our international clients from Colombia, Peru, Chile, Bolivia, Argentina, the United States, the United Kingdom, Spain, France, among others.
In the year 2021, Carlos and his team collaborated with the Presidency of the Republic of Ecuador in the creation and structuring of the Organic Law for Economic Development and Fiscal Sustainability after the COVID-19 Pandemic, law that came into force in Ecuador in November 2021. Due to Carlos' expertise, he has been consulted by the Ecuadorian State as a tax expert within one of the most important international arbitration processes for Ecuador.
Carlos has been recognized by Chambers and Partners in the Tax Practice Area for seventh consecutive year.
