Practice Areas
Brady is a disputes and international trade lawyer serving Canada’s leading businesses. Brady represents clients before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court of Canada, the ICC International Court of Arbitration, federal ministries and departments, and all levels of court in British Columbia. His practice focuses on cross-border disputes, commercial arbitration, cross-border regulatory controversy, customs and import/export compliance, trade remedies, sanctions, public and administrative law, and complex international trade and investment treaty issues.
Career
Brady has a PhD and LL.M in International Business Law from Trinity College, the University of Dublin, and is a former Adjunct Professor at the University of British Columbia.
Professional Memberships
Brady currently sits on the Executive of the Canadian Bar Association International Law Section, and the Export Committee of the Canadian Association of Importers and Exporters. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Publications
He is the author of The Constitutional Boundaries of European Fiscal Federalism (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and has written on international topics for leading publications in his field, including the European Law Review and the European Investment Law and Arbitration Review.
