Ben Evans

Ben Evans is a dual-qualified solicitor and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney who leads Harper James’ Trade Marks team. He qualified in a boutique IP firm in 2011 and went on to build his practice at Blake Morgan before joining Harper James in 2023.

Ben advises businesses and brand owners on every stage of trade mark protection — from clearance and registration through to portfolio management, enforcement and dispute resolution. He regularly oversees complex, multi-jurisdictional filing programmes via UKIPO, WIPO and trusted international agents, supporting clients across industries including FMCG, retail and lifestyle.

Known for his pragmatic and commercial approach, Ben focuses on understanding each client’s business model and brand ambitions to deliver strategies that are both effective and enforceable.
