Astrid López is a lawyer with honors from Universidad de Piura and holds a Master's Degree in Administrative Law and Market Regulation from the same university.

She has a specialization in Environmental Law and Natural Resources. Extensive experience in environmental enforcement and environmental licensing and other environmental and natural resources permits in diverse economic sectors.

She has worked in the main public entities with environmental competence such as OEFA and SENACE.
