Karina Urquizo is a partner and co-leader of the Dispute Resolution practice at CMS Grau. With more than 22 years of experience in dispute resolution, she specializes in litigation and arbitration, covering civil, constitutional, administrative and commercial matters both nationally and internationally. Karina began her career at the Supreme Court, as counsel. She has also worked at renowned law firms in Peru and has been an arbitrator at the Lima Chamber of Commerce since 2016, participating in various arbitrations related to civil and commercial disputes.
Her academic background includes a specialisation in Law and Jurisdictional Policy from the Universidad de Castilla - La Mancha in Spain, a diploma in Legal Argumentation and Jurisdictional Function from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, and she is a candidate for a Master's Degree in Law with mention in Jurisdictional Policy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
