Our practice is renowned as a leader in the natural resources and extractive industry sectors in Peru.

Our work is oriented to render advise to national and foreign investors in legal and regulatory aspects related to the entire range of activities that are present in the sector, including counseling in the privatization and / or bidding processes before the Peruvian State, including the draft and execution of contracts for transfer, concession, investment, legal stability and tax stability, among others; compliance and accreditation of obligations relating to investment, occupational health and safety, environment, and community relations; negotiation, clearance and access to surface rights; advice for the approval of environmental permits; audits; and advice on supervision and tax procedures.

Our consultancy has a large component of M&A and financing services. Our work includes the structuring of transactions at local and transnational level, whether on M&A projects, related assets or companies; the granting of guarantees; and in general, consultancy in all types of contracting associated to the development of activities of the sector (streaming agreements, and minerals sale contracts, among others) and the implementation and start up of projects, such as EPCs and O&M.

Due to our widely recognized experience, we have not only advised mining investors, but have also been consultants in the implementation of investment promotion regulation in the sector in Peru and abroad.
