Aron Pope

Aron is an expert in employment and partnership law. He advises both employers and employees and his clients include international law firms, FinTechs, tech firms, listed companies and banks.

Aron’s individual clients include lawyers, fund managers, board directors, investment bankers, brokers and leading figures in the financial services and professional services sectors.

Aron has particular experience in dealing with high-value employment and partnership disputes involving whistleblowing, discrimination, bonuses, restrictive covenants and team moves. He has considerable experience of defending and bringing claims for unfair and wrongful dismissal in the employment tribunal and of supervising junior lawyers in undertaking this work for employers and employees. Aron is known to fight hard for his clients, he has a track-record of success, and he focuses relentlessly on achieving his client’s objective – whether that it is to win in court, or to resolve the dispute confidentially.

Aron also helps his loyal client-base with general HR issues such as disciplinaries and grievances, and advises on the redundancy and TUPE implications of large business reorganisations and transfers. Aron’s main sector focus areas are financial and professional services (principally solicitors, patent attorneys, and accountants), FinTech and technology. He acts for numerous employers and senior executives in the natural resources sector. He is frequently involved in cross-border deals and disputes, particularly relating to the USA and Europe.

Aron is Deputy Head of Fox Williams’s Professional Services Group, and leads its activities for our US and international law firm clients.

Aron is experienced in advising on the employment and associated regulatory issues facing firms and individuals subject to FCA, PRA and SRA regulations, including dealing with investigations, disciplinaries and managing reputational issues. Aron has advised law firms in relation to regulatory reporting and SDT hearings.
