Arnoldo Troconis

Arnoldo Troconis specialises in corporate law, telecommunications, aviation law and mergers and acquisitions, representing both multinational and Venezuelan companies. Among other things, Arnoldo represented Telecom Italia Mobile (TIM) in the acquisition and later in the sale of shares in Corporación Digitel. He represented Global Crossing in its request of telecommunication licences. He also represented United Airlines during his operations in Venezuela and assisted oil and gas operating and service companies. He studied law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (JD cum laude, 1988), received an MCJ from the University of Texas, Austin (1991) and a master’s degree from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in tax law (1994). He has taught contracts law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (2005–2006) and “Internationalisation and the law” at Instituto de Estudios Superiores Administración (IESA) (2002–2003).
