Anna Abbott

Anna is an experienced employment lawyer who provides practical advice to employers on a broad spectrum of employment matters. Anna advises employers on all areas of workplace law, including employment agreements, termination of employment, workplace violence and harassment, privacy, human rights, performance management, accessibility, and occupational health and safety. Anna also provides advice on complex corporate transactions. Anna regularly speaks and provides client training sessions on workplace violence and harassment, human rights, and other employment law topics.

Anna has developed an expertise in assisting and defending clients in occupational health and safety regulatory and criminal prosecutions. She also has experience in employment-related class actions and complex workplace investigations. She has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of Canada and various administrative tribunals.
