Practice Areas

Andy has a wealth of experience in advising on all aspects of employment law, as well as both contentious and non-contentious pensions matters.

Andy joined Stevens & Bolton as a partner in August 2022. Prior to that he spent more than 20 years practising at two prominent City firms.

He has a particular expertise in advising large corporates on significant workplace issues, such as reorganisations, TUPE transfers and making changes to staff terms and conditions. He also has significant experience of Employment Tribunal and High Court work, dealing with a broad range of contentious issues. Andy regularly negotiates severance packages both on behalf of, and when acting against, senior executives. This gives him a unique insight into how best to represent clients when litigation is possible or likely. In addition, Andy brings a breadth of experience on pension matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Andy’s clients appreciate his ability to offer succinct, commercially focussed advice, whilst avoiding legalese and jargon. This has enabled him to become a trusted adviser over many years to corporates and individuals alike.
