Andreas is one of Freshfields' senior corporate lawyers, practicing out of its Düsseldorf and Frankfurt offices. He specialises in public and private M&A as well as general corporate law, in particular corporate governance and directors' liability. His clients include German and international companies, banks, financial investors and government agencies. Andreas has also considerable experience with corporate litigation matters.
Andreas joined Freshfields in 1988, and has been a partner since 1991.
Andreas is admitted as attorney-at-law in Germany and New York. He studied law and economics in Bonn, Speyer, Ann Arbor (Michigan) and Florence (European University Institute).
