Career
Andrea Lazarevska is an attorney at law with the firm since 2017. Her main areas of expertise are energy, regulatory, real estate, corporate/m&a, banking and finance law. Over the years, she has been involved in significant energy mandates in North Macedonia, advising national and international clients on legal issues related to energy and project development deals in North Macedonia. Most notably, she has advised SOLARPRO HOLDING AD Sofia, as a selected private partner, on a PPP project development for transformation of the facilities at Oslomej Thermal Power Plant into a large-scale solar photovoltaic power complex with installed capacity of approx. 100MW and Directorate for Technological Industrial Development Zones on a significant project involving the development of an industrial zone in Gevgelija, North Macedonia. Additionally, Andrea advised Alpiq Energy SE, a member of the Swiss energy group Alpiq Holding, on various project development aspects in North Macedonia, including compliance assessment of the EFET general agreement, RGREEN INVEST on project development and licensing requirements, including advising on the process of obtaining permits for PV Plant construction, grid connection and potential acquisition of shares in OSM SOLAR DOOEL and SPH-MB DOOEL Skopje.
Her other notable mandates include advising LIDL on their market entry into the Macedonian market, including real estate and land acquisition law aspects, ITgma, a leading provider of software and IT services in Southeast Europe, on the sale of a majority ownership stake in the company to Modirum, and Kontron AG, a stock exchange listed technology company, on the sale of significant parts of its IT services business to VINCI Energias S.A.
Andrea holds bachelor law degree from the University St. Cyril and Methodius Skopje, North Macedonia and LL.M. degrees in Finance and Financial Law from the University St. Cyril and Methodius Skopje, North Macedonia and International Public Law and Corporate Comparative Law from the Ohio State University, USA. She is fluent in Macedonian and English and understands and speaks Serbian and Spanish.
