During more than 23 years of professional career at Freshfields, more than 13 as a partner, Ana has built a strong reputation in the market and deep expertise advising in acquisition finance and restructuring mandates, having broad experience in banking transactions (takeovers, LBOs, real estate, corporate treasury, receivable purchasers), loan/REO portfolio acquisitions and restructuring mandates. Her clients include major investment banks and financial institutions, corporates, private equity houses and alternative capital providers, including: Banco Santander, Credit Suisse, Bank of America, Natixis, Credit Agricole, CaixaBank, CEPSA, Naturgy, Azora, Amadeus, Hotelbeds, Cinven, CVC, Bridgetpoint, Permira and Muzinich.
