Partner and head of ArnStein's Corporate and Finance department, with over 20 years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, and securities markets. Alfonso also possesses extensive experience in international investment arbitration and dispute resolution.

His corporate advice spans all phases of business, from corporate planning and structuring of investments for the start-up of operations in Venezuela and abroad, to mergers and acquisitions, negotiation of high-level contracts and transactions, project financing, and implementation of robust corporate governance and compliance best practices.

Alfonso has also guided clients in developing new business lines and obtaining certifications and international licenses. In the securities market, he has extensive experience in designing and implementing public and private debt structures, serving as lead legal counsel to issuers, structurers, underwriters, and investment funds in multiple high-volume transactions.

Additionally, Alfonso has expanded his practice as counsel in arbitrations and transnational litigation of significant importance, consistently achieving successful results.
