Alberto Benshimol advises multinationals, Venezuelan companies, banks and private clients on tax and political risk aspects of planning structures. He graduated summa cum laude from Andrés Bello Catholic University in 1996. He is admitted to practise in Venezuela and New York. Alberto interned at Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Washington, DC in 1997–1998. Alberto was a member of the team that conducted and completed the negotiations of the US–Venezuela Tax Treaty (1998) and has been a professor of tax law (since 2003), and company and taxation (since 2003) at Andrés Bello Catholic University. Alberto was included in the list of top Venezuelan lawyers under 40 by Latin Lawyer.
