She is held in high regard by her clients for her wealth of experience in the rail industry.
Agnes started her legal career at the Office of Passenger Rail Franchising, the UK Government Agency responsible for the privatization of the British Railway industry. Since joining Eversheds Sutherland in 2003 Agnes has advised public and private sector clients on rail infrastructure projects. As a highly regarded rail lawyer, Agnes assists clients in structuring their rail projects including consideration of the risk allocation between the public and private sector parties.
Recent client feedback is that Agnes is excellent and one of the best minds in the railway industry. “She provides clear advice, making sure the Client understands the contractual position and provided options to make sure the Client gets the best commercial outcome. During difficult negotiations, Agnes presents positions that give the other party little room for maneuver, but also holds her client to account where she feels the client is being unreasonable.”
