Adam O'Brian

Mr. O’Brian’s practice focuses on capital markets transactions with an emphasis on public utilities and energy companies.

He is a member of Hunton's Power and Utilities Capital Markets Team and has experience representing issuers and underwriters on a range of securities transactions including debt, equity and structured financings. Mr. O’Brian specializes in advising public utilities and underwriters on dedicated utility rate securitization transactions. Mr. O’Brian also counsels clients on SEC registered public offerings, Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings and private placements, often advising utilities or underwriters on nine-figure matters. In addition to his traditional capital markets experience, Mr. O’Brian has experience advising clients on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) offerings and establishment of ESG frameworks.
