Firm Overview: Founded in 1985, CBA is an independent legal and tax firm aiming to be recognized as a true multi-practice firm, fostering close ties with the business community. With over 100 professionals, including 25 partners, it supports both Italian and international companies.
The firm embraces change through a shared leadership model and afocus on diversity.
With offices in Italy and Germany, along with an international network, it offers high-quality services and expertise.
Its multidisciplinary teams provide integrated support, acting as true business partners rather than just legal advisors.
In an ever-changing marketplace, businesses need a legal partner whocan offer not only a high level of legal expertise, but also a strategic overview. This is what sets our firm apart, as our clients increasingly involve us in strategic decisions and discussions on new lines of business.
Clients increasingly demand a constructive approach from lawyers: they expect not only a technician, but also a ‘manager’ who can go vertical and dig deep into issues of interest. Commodity activities are less and less in demand.
In this way, we make available to our clients the experience we have gained in similar situations and contribute to the definition of their strategies.
With the aim of being a business partner, the firm has developed a heterogeneous network that allows it to act not only as a legal and tax advisor, but also as a hub and an aggregator of a number of players capable of assisting companies in international development projects that allow them to expand their business across borders, particularly in the Middle East and UAE/ Saudi Arabia.
The Firm strives to stay ahead of the game, which is why we have created two new focus teams: one dedicated to ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) issues, to respond to the challenges and opportunities of sustainable and responsible business, and the other focused on Artificial Intelligence, to explore the potential and legal implications of this emerging technology.
The Firm adopts a Code of Ethics to ensure binding and measurable standards of behaviour to support organisational and strategic decisions, the quality and nature of the services offered, in line with clients, employees and the community. The Permanent Ethics Committee monitors, coordinates and promotes the activities related to the adoption of the Code, and its members reflect a balance of gender, expertise and representation of the various offices of the firm, and participate in courses on UNI 11871:2022 and auditors of systems for risk management and value creation, sustainability and ESG parameters.
