Before joining CBA in May 2017 as Partner, Francesco developed his professional experience working for leading Italian and international law firms, initially as Associate, and from 2014 as Partner in the Milan office of an international law firm.
He mainly advises domestic and international banks on banking law, asset finance and structured finance. His experience also includes advising financial institutions, corporates and investors on real estate finance, project finance, asset finance and structured finance.
In the shipping sector, Francesco advises Italian and international lenders and borrowers on financing deals, including on Italian aspects of major international transactions.
Francesco is also very active in the cruise sector, where he advises major Italian and international players on financing and M&A deals, as well as on port concessions and tenders.
He is registered with the Milan Bar Association
He is a fellow member of the International Bar Association (IBA), where is the Chair of the Knowledge Management and IT Subcommittee
He is author of several publications in the field of bankruptcy and financial law, published in domestic and foreign law magazines and journals
