Recent Cases: 

  • METRO properties, the real estate company of METRO AG, in connection with a sale-andleaseback transaction of three MAKRO cash & carry stores in Prague. The deal was a part of a transaction involving a total of 11 MAKRO Cash & Carry stores in Poland (five stores), Hungary (three stores) and the Czech Republic
  • Rémy Cointreau Group on Czech and Slovak aspects of the sale of its Czech and Slovak distribution companies (the Czech one operating what is believed to be the largest distribution network in the country and one of the largest in the CEE region). The buyer was the German producer of beverages Mast-Jägermeister
  • SABMiller on the Czech and Slovak law aspects of the sale of its CEE businesses, including the Czech brewery Plzeňský Prazdroj and Slovak brewery Pivovary Topvar, to Asahi Group
  • Hewlett-Packard on the restructuring of its Czech and Slovak business activities as part of the company’s worldwide internal restructuring
  • Publicis on the acquisition of Kindred Group, the largest independent digital communications group in the Czech Republic
  • ZF Friedrichshafen AG on the Czech law aspects of its EUR 12.5 billion acquisition financing to acquire TRW Automotive
  • Komerční banka, Česká spořitelna, ČSOB, UniCredit and Sberbank on a CZK 7.5 billion syndicated loan to SAZKA, the leading Czech betting company
  • J&T Finance Group in relation to the enforcement of security against CEFC China Energy, a major investor group in the Czech Republic and Central Europe
  • EuroManganese Inc., the Canadian parent company of MANGAN Chvaletice s.r.o., which holds exploration rights for manganese tailings in north-east Bohemia, in relation to an IPO in excess of CZK 150 million

  • Wenaasgruppen AS, a family owned Scandinavian investor, in relation to the acquisition of the iconic Hotel Don Giovanni in Prague
