We are proud to announce that we have taken part in a significant cross-border transaction in the furniture industry.


PRK Partners advised the XXXLutz Deutschland Group on the acquisition of the Porta Group. XXXLutz is the second largest furniture retailer in Germany; through the transaction, it has acquired an additional 140 furniture stores in Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.


Teams from three countries provided the legal services for the transaction. The PRK Partners team, led by partners Vaclav Bily and Martin Kriz and senior attorneys Lucie Vorlova and Silvia Kratochvilova, handled the Czech and Slovak parts of the transaction.
