Martin Kriz, partner, holds law degrees from the Faculty of Law of Charles University in Prague and Comenius University Law School in Bratislava, as well as an MBA from Warwick Business School in England.
Martin worked as a foreign associate in a leading firm in the City of London between 1999 and 2000. With that exception, he has been working at PRK Partners since 1996. Martin became a partner in 2001.
Martin has gained broad experience in corporate law, corporate finance and insurance. He has engaged in numerous mergers and acquisitions, as well as financing and restructuring projects in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and also in other Central and Eastern European countries. His M&A practice covers the energy, real estate, industrial manufacturing and finance sectors.
Martin is fluent in Czech, English and Slovak and he has passive knowledge of Russian and French.
He is an attorney at the Czech Bar Association and the Slovak Bar Association.Martin is listed and recommended as a leading practitioner, both in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, corporate law and outsourcing in numerous directories and publications, including Chambers Europe, Chambers Global, The European Legal 500, Legal Experts and Best Lawyers.
