Her recent experience includes acting for clients such as Sequoia Capital China, CDH Investments, CITICPE, Legend Capital, GRS Ventures, and Starquest Capital.
Yuan has represented a significant number of leading international and domestic private fund sponsors, and has become a long-term partner to many of her clients throughout their fundraising cycle. She is frequently involved in the negotiations on behalf of fund sponsors with investors including SSF (National Council for Social Security Fund), insurance companies, government guidance funds, funds of funds, corporate investors and other institutional investors. Out of the 46 funds SSF invested in as the end of 2020, Yuan represented a quarter of the fund sponsors in these investments, with over a third of SSF’s RMB 65.2 billion total commitment amount.
Yuan has broad experience in representing institutional investors in their fund investments. She has represented a wide variety of fund investors investing in many well-recognized private fund sponsors in China.
Yuan’s practice also includes advising private fund managers on matters of compliance, internal control, upper-level structuring and team incentive plans.
