Her representative deals include Chem China’s 43-billion acquisition of Syngenta, Jiangxi Copper’s acquisition of First Quantum, SF’s acquisition of Kerry Logistics, Luxshare’s investment in Chery Automobile, International Finance Corporation’s strategic investment in Postal Savings Bank of China, merger of Tongcheng and Elong, Xiaomi’s acquisition of ZiMi, Luxshare’s acquisition of Hong Kong listed company TIME Interconnect Technology, Luxshare’s acquisition of Westron’s Kunshan factory, Luxvision’s acquisition of Hong Kong listed company Cowell e Holdings, Tongding Group’s acquisition of NASDAQ listed company UTStarcom, Guangdong Electronics Information Industry Group’s acquisition of A-share listed company Foshan Lighting shares from OSRAM, IDG’s acquisition of A-share listed company Shuangma, asset restructuring between Tianjin Port Holdings Co. and Tianjin Port Development, and merger restructuring of Mengniu’s subsidiaries.
The fund investment projects directed by Shifang Guo include Primavera Capital Group’s investment in Cainiao of Alibaba, CICC Capital and ARA’s joint acquisition of The Atrium in Chengdu, CAFIC’s investment in Foton’s Hong Kong joint venture project, Oceanpine Capital’s investment in Chipone Technology, Wise Road Capital’s investment in Juneway Electronic, Source Code Capital’s investment in Hongyu Technology, Macquarie’s investment in Zhilian Zhaopin, and Samsung’s VC investment in Montage Technology. Shifang Guo also represented Xiaomi in numerous investment projects in the its suply and ecological chain, including RoboSense, DataStory, Chiponeic Technology, ACC Optics, HKC and many other renowned companies.
Shifang Guo’s capital market experiences include IPO of Zhaopin, AsiaInfo, Sogou, Mogu, Vision China, Xueda Education, Huayu Expressways, Technovator Technology, Midas Aluminum, Xinchen Power, Molbase, Lvji Technology, Wanka, Ambow Education, RCG Holdings and O-net on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, NASDAQ and New York Stock Exchange, and RK Properties and CR Land’s bond issuance on the capital markets of Hong Kong and Singapore.
Shifang Guo also has extensive experience in fund formation. She has assisted clients in forming or investing in a number of RMB and USD funds both in China and overseas, which include SSF’s investment in Hillhouse Tiancheng RMB Fund II, CITIC Capital’s formation of hospital M&A fund, Jiangxi Copper’s formation of a Cayman USD fund specialzed in global mining investment.
