Cheng Li

Cheng Li is the Managing Partner of Global Law Office’s Shenzhen office and specialized in capital markets, M&A and PE/VC.

During the past years of practice in law firms, Mr. Li has accumulated extensive professional experiences in corporate restructuring, IPO on Chinese and overseas capital markets and M&A transactions. Mr. Li has advised on the restructuring and securities offering of dozens of enterprises at overseas stock markets, including Shanghai Electric, China Lesso, China South City, Hydoo International, Wuzhou International, Lvgem, Everbright Grand China Assets, Hung Fook Tong, Vincent Medical, Meitu, Wanka Online and Fangdd. Mr. Li has also represented clients in various complex M&A transactions among listed companies, large-scale state-owned enterprises and private equity funds, such as the acquisitions of Wanda Department Store and Carrefour (China) by Suning, the backdoor listing of SF Holding Co. Ltd., and the private equity financing of SF Express, FangDD.com, MEIZU Hive Box, MGI Tech and etc.

Mr. Li is particularly experienced in projects regarding natural resources, real estate, infrastructure, Internet, consuming and the medical industries.
