Zhao Ye graduated from Peking University with Master degree in law.
Mr. Zhao Ye, focusing his practice on IP and antitrust litigation, is widely recognized one of China's foremost IP attorneys. Mr. Zhao has successfully represented many of the world's leading corporations in various complicated intellectual property infringement cases, antitrust cases and unfair competition cases. He has represented Qihoo360 against Tencent, which is the first antitrust and unfair competition case in the Internet market in China; represented Sina Weibo against Maimai in an unfair competition case, which is the first case pertaining to Internet business data in China and is rated as the top 10 important IP cases in 2016; represented Huawei against InterDigital, and won an amount of RMB 30 million for Huawei which is the first case in China in antitrust field pertaining to SEP;
Mr. Zhao is well-experienced in patent litigation field, he has represented Huawei against Samsung in about ten patent infringement cases, concerning both SEP and non-SEP patents, and won most of the cases, including which an injunction was awarded to a SEP holder in China for the first time;
He has extensive experience in providing consulting services in IP issues to top multinational companies.
