Yang Ho Yoon

Mr. Yoon is a partner in Lee & Ko’s Shipping & Insurance Team and has practiced at the firm since 2010. His main areas of focus are insurance and shipping, where he is recognized for outstanding expertise in contentious advisory and complex litigation and arbitration. As an expert in corporate and non-life insurance, he has extensive experience across a range of major disputes, including package insurance, construction all risks, erection all risks, export credit insurance, D&O, professional indemnity, recall insurance and cargo insurance.

Having obtained an LL.M. from the University of Southampton in 2016, Mr. Yoon has been involved in virtually all major shipping-related cases handled by Lee & Ko and has achieved strong results in numerous high-profile litigations. He demonstrates particular strength in marine insurance, ship arrest and auction proceedings, and charterparty disputes, consistently delivering practical and commercially effective outcomes for clients. More recently, Mr. Yoon has been actively advising on offshore wind power farm projects, LNG and ammonia transportation. He also provides strategic legal advice on autonomous vessel navigation and the evolving legal and regulatory framework.

Mr. Yoon joined Lee & Ko in 2010 and is currently a partner lawyer in the Insurance & Reinsurance Group and the Shipping Group. He completed a master degree of insurance and shipping law at the University of Southampton from 2015 to 2016.
