Yair Geva is head of Herzog’s Start-ups & Emerging Companies Division. He is a New York and Israel-qualified corporate lawyer with extensive experience representing start-ups and emerging companies, including unicorns, from early stage to exit.

Yair specializes in cross-border tech mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital investments. He represents companies from all sectors of the tech industry including, among others, AI, Dev-Ops, Fintech, Cyber Security, Blockchain, E-commerce, Biotech and Foodtech, and boasts a deal portfolio that ranges from seed financing rounds to IPOs and M&As.

Yair has led some of the most notable recent transactions in Israel, including American Express' acquisition of Nipendo, Cheq's acquisition of Enighten, OpenWeb's acquisitions of Jeeng, AdyouLike and Hive, Checkmarx in its $1.15 billion acquisition by Hellman & Friedman, Dynamic Yield in its over $300 million sale to McDonald's, the acquisition of Simplex by Nuvei for $290 million, Sygnia in its $250 million sale to Temasek, PepsiCo in its $3.2 billion acquisition of Soda Stream, and TWC Tech Holdings II Corp’s SPAC merger with Cellebrite for $2.4 billion.
