Meir Linzen is Chairman of Herzog Fox & Neeman and head of its Tax, Private Client and Gaming & Gambling Departments. With over 40 years of experience, 20 of which he spent managing Herzog, Meir is regarded as one of Israel's leading tax experts.
Meir specialises in tax planning for cross-border transactions and has particular expertise in the tax aspects of international mergers and acquisitions in Israel. As Head of the Tax Department, Meir has advised on substantive tax issues with respect to acquiring local corporations as well as issues of transfer pricing, and investor and employee benefits in the context of some of the largest transactions in the Israeli market in recent years involving multinational corporations.
Meir has unparallelled experience and expertise in advising banks and multinational corporations with regards to their activities in Israel, as well as in advising private clients in their cross-border activities, including international tax and estate planning. Meir is among the most prominent lawyers in the E-Commerce field. In addition, due to his background in international law, Meir is also considered a leading expert in Public International Law and in Defence and Homeland Security.
