Career
Roy Nachimzon co-heads the Banking and Finance department and is a leading practitioner in banking and finance and corporate law. He regularly represents banks, institutional investors and private equity funds in acquisition finance, commercial loans, restructurings and other finance transactions. Roy’s work includes representation of both lenders and borrowers and he has developed substantial expertise in cross-border transactions.
Roy also has significant business experience in leadership roles having previously served as Executive Vice-President of Global Banking and Finance at El-Ad Group, a leading New York-based Real Estate investment firm and as Senior Vice-President and Head of the Israeli Desk at Israel Discount Bank of New York, a $10bn-commercial bank headquartered in New York.

Work Highlights
(i) Lead partner on behalf of CK Hutchison in the enforcement and sale of the controlling stake in Partner Communications for $300 million;
(ii) Lead partner on the landmark NIS1.1 billion ($c.300 million) financing for the acquisition of Haifa Port by the Adani group;
(iii) Lead partner of 8Fig in relation to a $120 million revolving credit facility from Silicon Valley Bank; and
(iv) Lead partner for Credito in relation to secured corporate senior and mezzanine loans in an aggregate amount of NIS 500 million ($c.140 million) from Phoenix Insurance.
