Her clientele spans a broad range of sectors, including public and private equity funds, consumer goods, culture and entertainment, logistics, express delivery, pharmaceuticals and medical devices, human resources, internet technology, real estate, TMT, manufacturing, financial services, and the gig economy.

In the area of tax dispute, Ma excels at dealing with comprehensive and complicated tax audit, tax related administrative review and litigation.

In the area of tax planning and advisory, Ma excels at provides comprehensive and one-stop legal and tax services, including the design of domestic and international structures, detailed planning for structural implementation, preparation of transactional documents, and implementation.

Furthermore, Ma has been invited to deliver tax-related lectures on topics such as international taxation, equity transfer, indirect transfer of equity, fund and financing for tax authority, industrial associations and enterprises.

Xiaoyu Ma was admitted in the PRC in 2015. Ma joined Global Law Office as a partner in end of 2023. Prior to joining Global, Ma worked with King and Wood Mallesons in the areas of taxation.
