Under the leadership of partner Vlastimil Pihera KSB continues to maintain strong positions in the debt capital market as well as in banking and capital market regulation. Vlastimil has assisted in setting up some of the biggest offshore and domestic trust and foundation structures used for estate planning. He has also helped to establish a significant number of philanthropical foundations for private founders in the Czech Republic, which includes assistance in establishing the Vlček Family Foundation, one of the largest philanthropic projects of its kind in the Czech Republic.

Vlastimil publishes in legal periodicals in Czechia and abroad (Trust & Trustees published by Oxford University Press), and is a co-author of some of the most recognized monographs and law commentaries. In 2019 Vlastimil was awarded an honorary medal for his contribution to Czech legislation.
