KSB partner Tomas Sequens has been involved in many commercial transactions which have environmental and energy aspects. He advises KSB clients on their strategies within transitioning to a circular and CO2 free economy, and he has participated in providing comments on many draft environmental and energy bills, such as the Czech RES Act and the Czech End-of-Life Products Act. Tomas has recently advised Czech Radioactive Waste Repository Authority, the organizational body of the Czech Republic, within the project of the construction and future operation of a long-term nuclear waste storage facility; REMA companies in the area of the operation of its EPR systems (including a waste-packaging EPR system); Green Gas DPB on the operation of its mine gas distribution networks, including the operation and regulation of its cogeneration units using mine gas; Asental Land with respect to reclaiming its land plots which were polluted during historical coal mining activities as well as with respect to the construction of a set of FVEs; and ENERGY Ústí nad Labem within the operation of its heating plant and its environmental transformation.
