Career

Victoria is a Partner in our employment practice, with more than fifteen years’ experience working for clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters.

A specialist in the Financial Services and Media and Marketing sectors, she is often involved in complex discrimination claims, bonus claims, change management and other high-profile litigation. Many of her clients are financial institutions in the City of London, and she is also head of our employment team for media and marketing services clients.

Her recent experience includes acting on the employment aspects of the Lehman Brothers merger with Nomura, and successfully handling the high-profile Madarassy case involving a senior City banker’s unfair dismissal, sex discrimination and victimisation claims. She worked for Anglo Irish on its recent pioneering decision to sell off its retail operations to Allied Irish Bank as part of a rescue deal with the government. Victoria qualified in 1994 and has been a Partner at Osborne Clarke since 2003.

She is a long-standing member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and is an active participant in the firm’s Corporate Responsibility programme.
