Career

Victor Polizelli has a focused practice in Tax Consultancy, mainly related to Corporate Taxes, International Taxation and Transfer Pricing. With a relevant academic background, Victor Polizelli is also a Tax Law Professor at the Full Masters Program and also post-graduation courses of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário – IBDT, which is one of the most prestigious research and education center in tax law in the country, and in the MBA courses of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Victor is the Coordinator of the IBDT’s LLM on International Tax Law, a course organized with the participation of foreign and Brazilian professors.

He is also co-editor of the Brazilian Journal on International Tax Law of IBDT (Revista Direito Tributário Internacional Atual). Victor also holds a major in accounting, which together with his deep knowledge of Brazilian and international Income Tax legislation makes him a key person in corporate restructuring, corporate transactions (M&A), real estate development projects and international tax planning. He is particularly experienced in taxation of the following sectors: automotive, pharmaceutical, digital economy.

Victor has also an expressive participation in international academic research groups, forums and events related to taxation.

Professional Memberships

Founding member of the firm (2002), became partner (2010). He is currently also Professor and Coordinator of Courses in International Tax Law at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT). Worked as a Professor of Tax Law in post-graduation courses of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) and the Law School of the University of São Paulo (USP).
