Career

Álvaro Lucasechi is a partner in Tax, with solid experience in indirect taxes, covering ICMS (State VAT), IPI (Excise Tax), ISS (Municipal Service Tax), and PIS/COFINS (Social Security Contributions).He is also knowledgeable of special tax regimes, assists clients in identifying tax opportunities to achieve tax efficiency and implementing new business models to reduce risks in the supply structure. His vast expertise with indirect taxes allows him to provide customized technical legal advice attuned to the clients’ businesses. In addition, his experience in administrative tax litigation provide knowledge of the different State and Municipal legislation, which helps defend clients’ positions all over the country. Finally, he assists clients in tax inspections avoiding tax assessments. He is particularly experienced in taxation of the following sectors: automotive, pharmaceutical and online retail.
