Henrique Lopes is a partner of the tax team and cofounder of KLA, has large experience with Income Taxes and International Taxation, and also has an expressive practice with Indirect Taxes.
Focusing his activities mainly on consultancy and administrative litigation, Henrique Lopes had important roles as a key person concerning tax planning and tax compliance in several major corporate transactions such as the acquisition of Yoki by General Mills, the acquisition of a stake in Sky Brasil from Globo, structuring of Hughes Network Systems new product launch in Brazil. He currently participates in important study and scientific forums, such as Núcleo Paulista de Estudos Tributários – NUPET and Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Tributário – IBDT. He has been a member of the Executive Committee of KLA for the last ten years.
