Valerie Goo

A partner in Crowell & Moring’s Los Angeles office, Valerie is a veteran trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience. She has litigated and tried cases involving trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, unfair competition, false advertising, and consumer class actions, as well as general business and complex commercial litigation matters, including fraud, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty. Valerie has successfully obtained and defended against temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctions in intellectual property, trade secret misappropriation, and commercial litigation matters. In addition, Valerie has state and federal appellate experience, including oral argument before the Ninth Circuit, and also has experience in trademark prosecution and enforcement. Valerie is recognized for her leadership, client service and trial skills. Most recently, she was named to the “Leaders of Influence: Litigators & Trial Lawyers List” by the Los Angeles Business Journal. In 2017, the Los Angeles Business Journal also recognized her among the “Most Influential Intellectual Property Attorneys”. She has been named to the World Trademark Review 1000 Leading Trademark Professionals since 2013.
