Prior to joining NO&T, worked with Baker & McKenzie (Tokyo) from 2004 to 2024 (partner in 2016), and seconded to Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Europe Limited (currently SMBC Bank International plc) in London from 2010 to 2011, Baker McKenzie (London) in 2011 and Shinsei Bank, Limited (currently SBI Shinsei Bank, Limited) from 2011 to 2012. Also prior to becoming a lawyer, worked with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.) from 1998 to 2000.
