Ryohei Tanaka frequently represents multi-national firms as well as large Japanese corporations in merger control proceedings before the JFTC concerning various industry sectors. In addition, he regularly provides advice on competition law related issues that arise in the course of M&A transaction such as gun jumping, non-compete and information firewalls, and he also assesses merger filing requirements in jurisdictions around the world and coordinates global filing procedures. Moreover, Mr. Tanaka represents and assists clients in cartel investigations, and advises on behavioural cases, provides regular competition law training to both Japanese and international clients.
