Tomaž Ilešič joined Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & partners in 2001 after obtaining his Master of Arts degree in European Studies at the College of Europe and completing his traineeship at the Higher Court of Ljubljana.

Tomaž has considerable experience in competition law and has advised on several major corporate transactions undertaken by the firm. He has led defensive teams in several attention-grabbing competition cases in front of the national competition authority and the European Commission. He has developed a broad base of expertise through working with a number of major pharmaceutical companies and is the Slovenian “go-to” lawyer for any pharmaceutical matters. He provides advice regarding a full range of regulatory matters and focuses on advising and representing clients in front of regulatory authorities as well as in litigation proceedings.
