Timor Pesso

Timor Pesso is a partner and head of the firm’s energy, infrastructures and project finance practices.

Mr. Pesso’s practice includes, among other things, initiating and developing infrastructure projects, collaborations and joint ventures between the private and public sectors, and financing deals, primarily in the fields of energy (conventional and renewable), transportation, public buildings, and water desalination plants.

Mr. Pesso is experienced in representing all entities involved in public projects in collaboration with the private sector, among them, entrepreneurs, project companies, banks, and financial institutions. His clientele includes both Israeli as well as foreign publicly traded companies as well as Israeli and foreign banks. Mr. Pesso’s representation services the entire lifespan of a project, starting with advising the entrepreneur or promoter in the tender process, to securing financing, and all the way through accompanying such projects in their construction and operation phases.

The projects handled by Mr. Pesso in recent years include: extending the northern sector of the Trans-Israel Highway; the Tel Aviv Light Rail’s red line, green line, and purple line; the Jerusalem Light Rail’s green line; the Ministry of Defense tenders for the construction, operation, and maintenance of military bases as part of its southward relocation plan; a series of solar power stations of various capacities throughout Israel; power plants using cogeneration technology; a thermosolar power plant in Ashalim; the construction of public buildings as a joint venture between the public and private sectors; Ministry of Defense tenders; etc.

Mr. Pesso also represents real estate developers in the field of construction and contractor companies, some of which are leaders in the field in Israel, in building both residential and commercial projects, including handling the financing aspects of these projects.
