Member of S&C’s General Practice Group and co-head of the Firm’s Power and Utility Group. Extensive experience in M&A, joint ventures, investment and credit transactions for regulated public utilities and other energy companies. Counsels public companies, infrastructure funds, private equity firms, investment banks, other investors and financial institutions on strategic corporate and credit transactions and applicable federal and state energy regulatory requirements. Advises on energy legislation, regulatory reform efforts and the impact of evolving laws and regulations on the energy transition. Most recently, represented companies and investors in acquisitions to establish new joint ventures to own and develop renewable energy projects and related investments as part of the energy transition as well as ongoing wholesale power market transactions.
