Partner since 1990. Responsible for S&C’s litigation practice on the West Coast. Extensive experience representing many of the largest and most influential businesses and prominent individuals in a wide range of complex business disputes. Represents clients in securities and other class action litigation, M&A, antitrust, contracts, corporate governance, and regulatory and internal investigations. Appears in federal/state courts, arbitrations, and proceedings before the SEC and other agencies. In recent years, has tried multiple cases, including several jury trials, non-jury trials, and a regulatory trial before a three-person panel. He also has handled numerous appeals, including in the Ninth, Second, D.C. and Federal Circuits, California Court of Appeals, New York Appellate Division and Delaware Supreme Court.
