Career

Thiago is a partner with a regulatory background and over fifteen years of legal practice, nine dedicated to Brazilian and foreign companies.

He participated in a fair amount of transactions in all the spectrum of the oil and natural gas industries, including the acquisition of oil and gas acreage in Brazil (farm-in/farm-out), structuring of gas-fired powerplants with LNG terminals, M&As for the acquisition of natural gas pipelines, as well as support to relevant financing.

Thiago’s history as in-house counsel in E&P companies, suppliers and services contractors, and his long experience in law firms gave him an uncanny strategic sense and a holistic understanding of clients’ needs. Through his constant participation in complex projects, his enthusiasm for following the significant changes impacting the oil and natural gas industries, and by his recent specialization in hydrogen, Thiago performs a key role in keeping the law firm in a vanguard position in the market.
