Sérgio has significant experience in Brazilian competition law, representing clients in some of the major merger filings and antitrust infringement cases in Brazil. Sergio is also an expert in administrative law, environmental and regulatory matters, advising companies in a wide range of sectors including on their interface with regulatory agencies and other government authorities. He is widely experienced in compliance matters, internal investigations and leniency applications, not only in the field of antitrust and regulation, but also from an anti-bribery perspective.
He is graduated in Law from Universidade de of São Paulo (USP), 1988; master and doctor in Economic and Financial Law from the same university, 1996 and 2002.
