Thiago is a partner specialising in oil and gas exploration and production, as well as its supply chain, midstream and downstream gas matters, and offshore wind. He is also committed to expanding the team’s practice into low-carbon hydrogen projects, helping energy companies complement their fossil fuel portfolios with renewables. His experience includes advising both national and foreign companies in the acquisition of oil and gas acreage in Brazil (farm-in/farm-outs), structuring gas-fired power plants with LNG terminals, M&As involving oil and gas assets and companies, offshore service providers, natural gas pipelines, and gas distribution companies, as well as advising on significant financing deals.

He holds a Law degree from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), 2009; and an MBA in Energy from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ), 2023.
