Career
Helena has over 25 years of experience in complex disputes, commercial arbitration, crisis management, group and cross-border litigation, in a wide range of sectors including Construction, Energy, Heavy Machinery, Mining, Pension Funds, Sanitation, Pharmaceuticals, among others. Helena also serves as an arbitrator, professor, and speaker in Procedural Law, Business Law, and Consumer Law. She is a member of the Board of Directors of AASP (Association of Lawyers of São Paulo), IBA Communications Officer of the Academic and Professional Development Committee, CBAr (Brazilian Arbitration Committee), IBDP (Brazilian Institute of Procedural Law), CEAPRO (Center for Advanced Studies in Procedural Law), and the Teaching Committee of CESA (Center for Study of Law Firms).
She is graduated in Law from Universidade de São Paulo; holds a master’s and a PhD degrees in Civil Procedural Law from the institution and has studied Italian law at Università degli Studi di Firenze (Italy).
