Chair of the firm’s Employment & Labor practice group. Susan’s practice focuses on private and public sector management labor and employment law. She has experience representing employers in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings in matters involving discrimination (race, sex, disability, age, etc.), retaliation, Family and Medical Leave, wage-hour and related areas. Susan drafts, negotiates and litigates employment-related agreements, including restrictive covenants. She prepares handbooks, conducts management training, and assists employers in implementing preventive measures to help avoid and defend employment related claims.
Susan is the firm liaison for the Employment Law Alliance (ELA), a resource for the firm's clients facing national and international employment issues. ELA is a network of management labor and employment defense attorneys throughout the world.
